Forté Alumni Leadership Council Prepares for 2024-2025 Term

In 2022, Forté created the Alumni Leadership Council (ALC), a diverse group of 24 post-MBA professional women committed to #MoreWomenLeading. Over the past two years, the ALC has contributed to several key initiatives, including the “Women on Boards” online series and the MBA Alumni Class Giving Campaign. The ALC also designed surveys to gather feedback from the Forté alumni community, hosted social events, supported International Women’s Day Campaigns, and served as a leadership voice on behalf of Forté.

The 2022-2023 Alumni Leadership Council leaders were focused on uncovering how the ALC could make a meaningful impact in alignment with the greater Forté mission. Together, they have reflected and identified opportunities to amplify the collective experience of ALC members and made recommendations to further its momentum.

As Forté looks ahead to the next two-year term, the Alumni Leadership Council has been thoughtfully redesigned to align its efforts and goals with those of the Forté staff and Board of Directors. For the 2024-2025 term, the ALC will consist of five committees, each of which supports a strategic focus of Forté. Committees will be led by vice chairs who will partner with a Forté liaison and drive synergies with their peers.

We are currently recruiting new members from a diversity of industries, schools, and perspectives to further Forté’s mission of #MoreWomenLeading. The application deadline is October 20th, with new members serving a 2-year term beginning January 2024.
