Success! The Forté MBA Leadership Conference Alumni Track

For more than 20 years, Forté has been dedicated to building a community for high-achieving women to better support their continuing education and career growth. Each year, Forté brings together hundreds of women who are beginning their MBA programs for its signature event: the MBA Women’s Leadership Conference. This year, however, there was an exciting addition: an MBA Alumni Track for 60+ post-MBA professional women.

Attending the Forté conference in Chicago was a game-changer. I left feeling inspired, motivated, and more connected than ever before. The personal investment was worth it.”  – Angela B.

This inaugural event brought together women leaders from across the country, with representation from several industries and companies – all of whom were looking for opportunities to grow, connect, and find inspiration. Some of the program highlights included:

  • Welcome remarks from Elissa Sangster, CEO of Forté
  • How to Smash Your Money Goals after Business School with Eryn Schultz, Founder of Her Personal Finance
  • Power, Politics, and Asking for What You Want with Alison Fragale, Author of Likeable Badass
  • The Mentorship-Sponsorship Continuum with Amy Orlov, Forté’s Director of Professional Programs
  • Peer career support via career conversations, resume and LinkedIn reviews
  • Small group dinners around Chicago and other social meet-ups throughout the weekend

I am grateful for Forté creating an Alumni Track! My experience was enriched by great speakers and meeting terrific women who will be long-time connections post our MBA journey! I cannot wait to attend next year’s event!” – Colette B.

The Forté Alumni Leadership Council (ALC), a select group of alumni leaders, also had the chance to meet in person for the first time since its inception in 2021. The ALC shared updates on their work, contributed ideas to shape the future of professional women’s programs, and celebrated their achievements in bringing the alumni conference to life.

Learn how to #LeadWithForte

If you are an alumna interested in volunteering with Forté, please reach out to Liz Young, Associate Director of Alumni Engagement. Alumni Ambassadors can volunteer for several opportunities including mentoring, serving as a panelist/speaker, and hosting alumni regional events. We look forward to hearing from you!

It’s so easy to think of networking as purely transactional and women often hesitate to ask others for help, especially if they don’t have something to offer directly in return. The conference made me realize how much each one of us has to offer and that we’re all in it together.” – Sam M.

A Special Thank you to our Product Sponsors

MBA alumni attendees received gifts from our amazing product sponsors. Thank you to these female-led brands championing women in the world of business: Black Girl Sunscreen, Chunks, First Aid Beauty, Kendra Scott, KIBRA, Odele Beauty.

As we look ahead to the rest of the year with renewed energy, the ALC and the Forté Alumni community have so much more in store, with plans to expand alumni volunteer opportunities, city-based MBA alumni meet-ups, and much more. Stay tuned to learn more about alumni events happening in a city near you.
