Why did you decide to pursue an MBA?
I made this choice on the sub-conscious level a year before it verbalized into specific “I want to get an MBA in the United States.” For months I was looking for a way to explore myself professionally and personally, to expand my horizons and to combine my practical experiences with a solid academic base. Now I find Haas School of Business a great place to achieve those goals!

What advice do you have for women who are considering business school?
Spend at least one whole day as if you are already admitted to the b-school of your choice and notice how it feels like. What would you do that day? What would you think? Who would you meet? If you truly enjoy this day of your life, forget all your doubts and just go for it!

What’s the most surprising you learned about business school during the application process?
Selecting the business school is like solving a jigsaw puzzle. Your personality with all your personal and professional experiences and values is like a unique puzzle piece that needs to be matched with business school profile, style and community. Explore as much as you can before applying and make a thoughtful choice!

Do you feel prepared for business school?
You do not need to come to business school, if you feel prepared for it. B-school is all about expanding your horizons and “students always” mindset!

What do you do in your free time?
Free time for me is a way to divert energy to a new sphere. In other words, I literally have no free time – when not working I will be doing a volunteer project, socializing or exploring new aspects of art.

Please share something about your experience with Forté.
It is awesome to be in a great network of likeminded female leaders and have access to various development tools!

You will have many doubts at all steps of the process… So feel free to reach out for specific question or experience I’ve had so far. I’ll be glad to share!
