Investment Banking Simulation

To take what you learned in Finance 101 to the next level, you will have the opportunity to practice as an investment banker and decide if one company is ready for an Initial Public Offering (IPO). This simulation is a fun way to learn about the multiple variables involved in a bank’s decision to assist a company through an IPO.

If you are interested in investment banking and have little or no experience in the field, this simulation will be an exciting way to start thinking like an investment banker.

Sales and Trading Simulation

In this simulation, you will have the ability to advise an investor on whether they should buy, sell, or hold IPO stocks and how much cash to keep. You will experience market volatility as well as market fundamentals and potentially win prizes depending on how much return you give to your client.

This section is especially exciting for those that follow the market and the impact of news releases.

The Inside Scoop

How about having the opportunity to sit with actual recruiters from Wells Fargo, Credit Suisse, Vanguard, Bank of America, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York? How about having the ability to ask them any questions while you are there?

You will rotate tables and gain insight on the structure of finance resumes, internship search, successful interviews, internship expectations, and important finance skills. Afterwards, you get an hour to network with these recruiters and make valuable connections.
