Male Ally Groups Push to Grow the Movement
/

This is the fourth installment of our five-part series recognizing the growing trend of men getting involved in issues of gender equality, particularly on MBA campuses. As the movement grows, we wanted to gather thoughts and ideas of male allies and share them with you so you can hear some of these inspiring men creating innovative and meaningful dialogue in this space.

In this episode we talk with Billy Bennett, 2016 graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Billy shares with us the rewards and challenges he faced while leading the Stanford male ally group, WIMmen. During his time he says he made huge strides in becoming an empathetic leader, but just understanding the issues women face wasn’t his only goal. He wanted to find a way to make the biggest impact, and spread the message of gender equality as much as he could during his limited time on the Stanford campus.
