Think Like a Business School Candidate

Eileen-FramptonWhile I was earning my undergraduate degree I was vivacious, curious to learn new things, and my mind was in constant focus of my short and long term professional goals. I decided to concentrate my energy solely on my studies, and did not work.

In my senior year, I decided to take a part time internship. Shortly prior to graduating, I was offered a full time staff position at the company I was working for. I was stoked, mostly because I had no idea what would happen post graduation, but also because I had an opportunity to tackle a couple of short term goals.

Fast forward three years, and I was still with the same company. Only by this time I had been worn down by the mundane 8-5 ritual, having only enough energy at the end of my day to prepare for the next day.

Needless to say, I had lost some of the vivaciousness and eager curiosity which I possessed throughout undergrad. I remember feeling like I needed more fulfillment in my career, not to mention better work-life balance.

I knew what an MBA was and I knew that that degree could elevate my career trajectory, but that’s about all I knew. I started researching the MBA degree, and it wasn’t long before I realized I wanted to go for it!

Then came the hard part—figuring out how to navigate the array of self-help websites, articles, and books. With so much information available to me, it became difficult to connect the dots and map a clear path from desiring an MBA to applying to a competitive program as a strong candidate.

When I was introduced to Forté MBALaunch, it was a no brainer. I knew that this program would help me construct a plan and connect the dots to a successful MBA application packet. Forté MBALaunch has helped me with all of that and so much more!

I have met some amazing individuals with the same passion and drive I have. I have had some fantastic experiences with my new network of fellow Launchers.

One of the most important things I have taken away from Forté MBALaunch is learning to think like a business school candidate. This is something I couldn’t google or learn from a secondhand experience.

Forté MBALaunch has developed a winning model on how to navigate the tedious application process. The events, the online portal, and even the homework will move you closer to a winning application!

I am happy I chose Forté MBALaunch, and I believe you will be too!
