My decision to pursue an MBA was filled with uncertainty, anxiety, and even a little bit of fear. And one of the most impactful decisions I made that transformed my approach to the process was joining Forté’s MBALaunch program.

Not only did Forte provide plentiful resources to help me solidify my story, prepare for the GMAT, and mold a competitive application, but it also surrounded me with a great group of supportive women who shared similar concerns and worked together to overcome them.

Pursuing an MBA was primarily influenced by the desire to attain a more autonomous managerial position and build a strong network of peers to propel me in my professional aspirations. My involvement in Forté helped me build the necessary confidence to explore different MBA programs and ultimately choose the one that best fit my development objectives.

As I am now fully immersed in my MBA program, I am constantly faced with new learning opportunities, I am challenged to think beyond previously defined boundaries, and am rediscovering myself through the rich perspectives of my peers.

I am only two months in – but I am eagerly awaiting all that these two years will offer. Pursuing an MBA was certainly the best decision I could have made.

As you continue your MBA or career exploration, I advise you take risks and leverage all the resources that are made available. Learn to see the experience as adventure into something that will only become tremendously rewarding.

And whatever concerns or fears you may have, know that there is a network of strong women that relate to you and are willing to guide and support you in the process.
