Maria Coello is the founder of U.S.A. Aseguranza, an insurance company. U.S.A. Aseguranza provides car, home and commercial insurance inside supermarkets throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. Before starting her career as an entrepreneur, Ms. Coello was an Associate at Hunt Power responsible for setting up the power trading business and assessing infrastructure investments that provide electricity to local communities in the United States and overseas. She has actively evaluated investment opportunities real estate and private equity in Mexico and Latin America. Before joining Hunt in 2004, Maria worked as a consultant with KPMG where she was involved in several Latin American acquisitions, including the $12.5 billion Citibank purchase of Mexico’s largest private bank, Banamex. Ms. Coello is the former Treasurer of the Dallas Summit and she is an active investor in Texas Women Ventures Fund, a gender lens private equity fund. Ms. Coello graduated with honors from the University of Houston and holds an MBA from Yale University.

Luiza Mattos graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and has a Master in Management from the Coppead Graduate School of Business both in Brazil. She holds an MBA from the University Of Pennsylvania Wharton School.

Luiza is a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company in the Rio de Janeiro office, joining the firm in 2007. Luiza has worked with top management of large national and multinational groups in several industries such as retail banking & finance, credit cards, travel agencies and apparel retailers.
